IIn the past 22 years, the manufacturers of Vi2000 CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE, have been repeatedly addressed by customers on why we are "only" supporting selling, planning, presenting, calculating and sampling within the Vi-world.

This is our answer: For more than six years, we have been working together with the colleagues from the company GSD (Gesellschaft für Software, Entwicklung und Datentechnik mbH) and several users to develop our vision of a software-based, process-oriented business management: Vi Project!

The basic idea is simple and clear. Everything runs in one integrated system. The actual result may go much further - even for you. It is ONE system: From address management to document management, from order placement and accounting to construction scheduling and the build log, from service to defect management and controlling – AND everything is process-controlled by means of user-defined workflows.

Today, it is common practice among our users that the software for executing construction work informs the company if something is NOT running according to the predetermined processes. This vision can become reality for you with a configured Vi calculation and DOCUframe as a base!

Workflow
 
Control system for distribution of work and (schedule) controlling
 
  • Time scheduling:
      •  For example, ready message triggers the setting of a start date: Presence of the building permit and completion of sampling starts the process "detailed design"
        
  • Process distribution:
      •  For example, ready message triggers the sending of a process to the inbox of a person in charge:
         Presence of building permit and completion of sampling shifts the process "detailed design" to a designer
 
  • Start date reminder:
      •  For example, start date reminder before the beginning of works: 48 hours before the start of concreting the concrete ceiling, the heating contractor receives a memo reminding them to insert the boiler in the basement
      • If a reportable process has not been reported as being started in time, the executer of the task receives a reminder: If the beginning of the external plaster works has not been reported as started 24 hours after the planned start date, a control message is sent to the plasterer and the project leader
 
  • Status setting:
      •  For example, with the beginning of a process, a project status is set: The beginning of excavation works sets the project status to "under construction"
 
 
 
 
  • Target time monitoring
      •  When a percentage value of the planned target time has been reached, a notification is sent: When 90% of the target time for drawing up the building application are reached and no notification of completion was sent, an email is sent to the planning manager to control the status of the work.
 
 
  • Deadline monitoring / escalation management:
      •  Missing start or end notifications trigger a multistage escalation workflow: 24 hours
        after failure to send end message "screed works", an email is sent to the screed installer and the construction supervisor, after 48 hours an email is sent to the project manager, after 96 hours, an email is sent to the management.
 
  • General deadline monitoring outside the construction schedule:
      •  Expiration of reservation periods l expiry of supplier price agreements
      •  Expiration of the validity of documents (e.g. insurance certificates)
 
  • General monitoring of construction diary / customer service:
      •  Expiration of notification (grace) period for defects
 
 
Construction process documentation
 
  • Central point of information for the construction process documentation:
      •  Construction site (log entries / construction activities / faulty materials / defects) l list evaluations
      •  In-house (log entries) l document management / attachments l automatic log shipping to
         various distribution keys with individual protocol content and attachments

Wenn die Bauanträge NICHT im eigenen Haus erstellt werden, sollten Ihre Partnerarchitekten in jedem Fall mit Vi arbeiten. Die Vorteile "liegen auf der Hand". Die Vorplanung wird für den Bauantrag weiter detailiert UND die fertige Bauantragsplanung können Sie im eigenen Haus weiter verwenden. Zum Beispiel für die automatische Kalkulation des Nachtragsangebots - vorausgesetzt, Sie arbeiten mit Vi Kalk.

sowie die ständigen Fragen nach Eigenleistungen

brachten mich in der Vergangenheit (vor Vi2000)
manchmal zur Verzweiflung. Heute ist es ein Klacks
oder vielleicht besser Klick um darauf zu reagieren.
Ich merke deutlich, dass dies bei den Kunden sehr
gut ankommt. Man trifft sehr selten auf ein Unterneh-
men, das sich für den Kunden so stark engagiert!
